Dan (48635km):  2 categories   Christchurch Estuary, Nice windy and brutal sail on the estuary. Big gusts and wind swings made it interesting. First time on the 5.1 for quite a while. Should get it out more. It was nice to handle. FF 79, R6 5.1, C3 30 | ||||||||||||||||||
Pete (15613km):  Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Needed the wind to drop into my 5.8 zone, and I was lookiing at gust values from three sources showing well over 30 knots for most of the afternoon. the highest being 38 knots. Missed out in the end. Had a quick sail, but it was too shallow and the wind had gone fom full on to almost nothing. Exocet 80L/55W, Point-7 AC-Z 5.8, Vector Delta 23 ..took a few photos while I was waiting around. They're at long range with a short range lens. So not all that sharp. Attached below:
