Trousers (14352km): el Bog, sw to 14kts, patchy but smooth snuck down for a big gear sesh and test my rebuilt 7.8m out. Plugged that on top the iSonic 97 with a Maui Volt 40cm under carriage. Tricksy to get going today, and I stayed out too long & slogged home - never quite lit, but still good knock around the lake with Chris and Leon. Late tomorrow might be the trick.
hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU 10-15 Southerly Exo90,GPS7.3, BPR32.5 Went to the local to sail with Carl who is camping at the Park. The light wind forecast had me wondering how i was going to get on the plane. The selection of the slalom BPR32.5 instead of the weedy was the right choice. As the wind picked up to 15 knots it was good fun locked in and flying off the fin. A good workout. Great to catch up with Carl. Cheers
Captain skip bogan (50112km): Stansbury, SA, AU 10 to 15. Great light wind on big kit with hoppy. Spent the weekend at stans with my youngest daughter and her boyfriend and hoped for a light wind cruise. Big kit was amazing as usual and tried the ff24 for the 1st time with big board and sail but a little small - a couple of spin outs and sliding sideways upwind loaded but still fun in very light winds. Great to catch up with hoppy as always and cheers for the beers 😊👍😎. Maybe another light wind cruise tomorrow... Patrik 128 / 8.6 racing blade / ff24 fin. |
