Tricky Bogan (21799km): Cracker Sail at Stans with Hoppy & Simon. Simon took peak of the day Nice Rigged the Loft RB 7 CA SL101, Fangy 22. Great sessiom in 13-17knt. maybe the odd 20knt gust Finnished with a cold frothie with Hoppy
Trousers (14352km): el bog, eventually getting to 18kts, maybe a touch higher, but patchy. Big turn-out. Arrived after lunch and optimistically rigged the 6.2 MachOne/iSonic98 but working way too hard, and my 30cm Volt jockey-wheel dint help. Deperate to ride this combo after a great sesh on it previously, but today was not as strong, so I was undercooked. Upsized to 7.0 Mach Four and BPR375. Now in business, pointing easy I teleported up top where Chris D, Leon and Jay were playing. Direction allowed a starboard tack along the south shore, in small chop and clean wind. Tidy little speed strip there today, and great gybing zones at the end. As the day wore it pushed so I took the Volt/Mach One back out for a quick blast, and they were much better now it was getting heavier. I did slip it out a bit, need to quit stomping on it like my prom date's feet.
Peter Daish (26108km): Lake George, SA, AU 25 knots, 98 FMX 98 L 63cm wide, 22 delta sym tribal, 7.0 Gs-r race. nice day on the lake, aim today was mile but happy to crack 40 on med board. still not set up just right but FMX boards are sweet. should have got speed board but to big a walk into shore. went to 5mile and better up there. less dangerous as too many down the spit speeding in both directions. going to be colision soon. great day
Unknown Location Bogan (11341km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU. Just happy to be here . Boggy packed out. Lots of Sems sailors and people I have never met. Good catching up with everybody and the crew from the spit. KArace 6.3, Falcon 107, Tribal weedspeed 33.
Captain bogan (50569km): Lake George, SA, AU - 20 to 25. Day 1 of many lol - warm up. Fun chasing Daishy around - awesome fun. 1st day of the season. Decided on slalom for some fun with nauties, alphas and maybe some speed. Took a little while to work out where to go / not to go and hit a weed berg at over 35 knots n the glass - oops - didn't go over the front but will watch out . Soon had 37's and 38's and met up with Daishy for the next plan of attack. Decided on a mile from below 5 mile to end of spit. Soon had a 33.3 but wanted better. We headed slightly higher and managed a 34.1. Next step we headed between the islands and managed a couple of 39 screens before heading up to 5 mile for a look - again 39's and managed a 34.4 in the chop past 5 mile before heading down the lake in the middle with a 34.5 mile - again bloody choppy but great fun. Did a couple of alphas at the end and managed a 26 so very happy. Great start to the week and bring on the week ahead... Patrik 87 / 6.3m loft racing blade / Tribal delta 20 sym - awesome fin - cheers Casey for the loan.
Hamma (12038km): JP 55w / Evo 12 5.8 / tribal 14 delta My weedspeed was struggling getting through the weed at the spit .I only had the 14 delta and was way to small and just kept spinning out. Should have left the weedspeed and sail out in the chop.Still good to have another sail. |
