Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. Finally a speed session at Grassy again! Nicely powered on 7.8/112/35 WD2. Tide was a bit high (0.5 ft) so not really flat, but still plenty of fun. The weeds looked good at a bunch of spots - if we get a day with a near-0 tide, there should be some really smooth water.

Since this was the first time at Grassy Point since last March, I got off a lot to check water depth - plenty of water everywhere even for the large fin. The hour has about 10 such stops in it, but I'm not fit enough yet for serious 1 h attempts. The nauti was just a run across the wind. Can't wait for warmer days there with a bit more wind! Wind meter averages today were between 17 and 21 mph, but the meter seems to read lower in this direction than in the usual SSE-SE.

Grassy Point, Corpus Christi, TX. Mostly underpowered on 6.3/89.BPWS"34". Spent a lot of time trying to adjust things but never got the gear dialed in. Maybe lack of fitness was the real issue.
