fangy (22687km): To my surprise when I wandered on down to The Hook for a splash the Slug was already teletubbying about the place so joined him on the Barge, Avalon7.0 and FF24. Muffin and Basil came down to see the what the fuss was about soon after and joined us on the flats. The tide was too high for any smooth but it was a top shelf pleasant plain old cruise. Not too rough to bounce out the fillings, nor not too shallow to worry about a touch down anywhere. I did a few laps of the park, really, really, really enjoying watching the Master Teletubby smash past me. Thank goodness remembering to bring a GPS unit is not in his skillset. The difference in speeds would have been embarrassing.
I had to chuck it in a bit earlier than I would have liked but left the others to whack out a few more Km’s. Speaking of whacked; Basil came in with his left arm a bloody mess courtesy of a robust discussion with his boom at some point. Happily the pain sensors in that part of his carcass don’t seem to be connected anymore, so while it looked like he had been playing with chainsaws, apparently it didn’t hurt that much at all.
So apart from Basil’s busted wing, I reckon I would chalk that one up as a Top Ten Fangy Day.

Bully boy fat Basil (4932km): Coodanup, WA, Undercooked at Coodenup. however planing most of the time so very enjoyable. Which is rather beside the point. We all know that the only reason we sail is because it looks so damned cool. So fashion is important and I give you the fashion notes for the day for each of the Coodannupians. Fangy whose patch it is AKA the greenkeeper was resplendant in shorts which could only be described as whoops it better not to describe them as our stomachs are only so strong. T1 Embracing the the curves in front entry spring suit. Eat your hearts out Kardashians Paz rocked a vintage wetsuit . Very becoming but that wet suit is older than he is. Hell its older than I am Moi. Impeccable as always in a steel grey number that matched the hair. Svelte suave and sophisticated as always. Any rumours that it was a pregnant stick insect sailing my gear can be dismissed as vicious gossip.
The Scud (2058km): Underboarded and underpowered, thought it would kick but it never appeared.little rrd,6.3,ff Sid
(Puf-) fin (15691km): Coodanup, fangy farm,,, the floods have come,!! There was wind and there was plenty of water in the estuary, the tide was right up... didnt have to worry about the weed. So had the old Wtek FR 25 wide, the KA Kon5.8, and 45/23cm weed and had fun with the old wetty,??
and the scribbles,,, a masterpiece for the wall.
