Mark Jordan (40659km): Well what a day that turned out to be , plan was to have a crack at a good distance for Maree and hopefully a pb me as well , started at 9am and the wind was ese for a while so came in and had a break , the wind stoped for nearly 2 hours and nearly ready to pull the pin , wind slowly came in from the south and the 7m and 100 patrik was really nice and comfy , all of a suden the wind came in so back to shore and rigged the 5.7m and the patrik speed 79 litre which was awesome for a while and then it kicked in solid 25 gusting to 28 knots , back to shore and rigged the 4.7m for Maree and off we went again getting awesome gusts all over the lake , wind then settled down and it was really going well until it switched of so again back to shore and rigged the 6,2m koncept and 100 litre board to get a pb , floated home with not a breath of wind in the sail so couldnt really do any more , what an adventure and great pb for Maree so proud of the wife battling too big a board and just stuck with it until she got a pb smashed it and now we can rest

Maree Jordan (12063km): It was one hell of a day LG gave us all its conditions today from sitting on shore for an hour and a half no wind, different directions, most beautiful glass to being on 4:7 most down haul and out haul not in the foot straps and sail 90degrees to the board and still doing 31-30kns across the wind. Not really the best day to do a distance but had done nearly 90 kms so just kept going but last few runs the wind dropped to cruise on the 4:7 and 80litre. In between there was perfect wind. Have the best time and massive congrats to hubby for his pb. 6:2/110/22sym.5:2/ 4:7/53w/16sym pb for the 53wboard |
