Sammy (43182km): Ripper weekend. Well done to all that sailed. Used carbon art 91 slalom all weekend with 6.2 sail. Other blokes had some great speeds. Well done Nautical was smooth today with a nice long run 😀 LG don't give up good speeds easily. I'm knackered 😴 😪 😫 😩 😌 | ||||||||||||||||||
Peter Daish (26108km): Lake George, SA, AU FMX RACING 74L SPEED, 6.3 GUNGSR, 20 delta sym then 23 weed speed , 20 to 30 NW. straight of the bat, after epic walk through 500 steps in shin deep mud ouch!!,then through the gap of 30m with weed either side. it looked like an aircraft run way. feet in, harness in and instantly speed talk saying 39 knots. just crazy day. WOW WOW double wow what an epic day. the SE summer speed strip is the best but this NW strip at the weedy north end is EPIC!!! lines of speed both ways and A mile of speed to be had if the wind stayed strong. Even thinking the national record might go at 41 plus!! thats how good it was. Never got a whole mile of wind. bugger. Big stack at 35 knots . just got literally lifted into air. thats me holding it down trying with 10 kgs of weight.!! came down bam bom and lucky for helmet, came up still alive. Gust was still there so got back on and pulled a 42.2 lol. Man..... what a weekend with the boys. weed speed still faster than the deltas but man if you got near the weed AND stop , YOUR DONE ABSOLTELY DONE. phyiscally, done after 90kms in these conditions. Stash Sam and Carl, awesome team work. check the photo how little water there is!!!

Captain bogan (50569km): Lake George - 20 to 30 knots. What an awesome day and so much fun . About the 3rd run in had a 40 and got better from there. Managed a 41 heading to Kev's bay and a few more all over the lake. Met up with the boys and we all decided to go for a mile. 2 runs i had a lull in the middle and managed to get a better one but the garmin only displayed 34.4 so happy to download a 35.6. Used the Tribal weed speed 21 and worked well even in some of the thicker weed after a while Sam and me met up and decided time to head in. With the very thick weed near the spit we decided to put in Tribal deltas so i fitted the delta 16 sym. Wow managed to get hold of a gust to see 41.78 and 40.58 10 second. Hoping to back 4 more runs i tried but soon the wind dropped and couldn't back it up lol. Still very happy - great day with the other guys smoking some nice miles and alphas - well done Stash on your pb well done mate . Ab 46 / 5.6 loft blade / tribal weed speed 21 / tribal delta sym 16. |
