670 days ago Stansbury, SA, AU. 20-25kt SSE. It was a good session, but gear choice and body let me down. I got there at low tide at 12 and rigged 5.5 Karace, JP 49 speed, 16 MUF Delta. The tide was stack, and in the gulf, it's normal for the wind to die out on the coasts, but it quickly returns. I was just going to wad out there and wait for it. But, I overheated in my 3/2 wet suit and had to come back in. So, I donned my rashies and changed board to a the Patrick Slalom 92 + MUF 18 Delta. Sail felt great, but something was not right with the bear aways... I was using my arms too much, and not commiting to the harness. If I did fully commit to the harness, my arse would hit the water. It was like I had 34" lines or something ??. So, back in, and put my old harness on. Ok, that fixed that issue (it has a lower hook). But now, my left hand is weak. So, the whole session, is two runs, then resting my hands. It's choppy now and the smooth is disappearing, so I put the speedie back on the 5.5 KArace + MUD 16 Delta for few runs. Once the tide was up,and I could not sail the 5.5 any more due to my hand, I put the Hucker 4.2 on the speed board, pushed the base forward, and did an hour non stop. Daishy's old speed board is getting a lot of use lately. It's an old 2012 full carbon jobbie. It's very highly strung (like all full carbon JPs in that era) and a job to settle in the chop. But good fun. I was doing 31kt bear aways in front of the caravan park through the chop.
PS/. The MUF Delta fins are excellent. Not one spin out the whole session. Once upon a time, I could never sail high tide here. I never noticed the thick ribbon weed lines.

What a great start to a 2 week holiday at the Golden lake. 1st day warm up and decided to take the slalom board for a one hour and do some alphas. Happy with the results. Had a quick squirt at the end on the speed board but the wind had dropped so only a slightly better peak.
Patrik 87 / 5.6m loft racing blade / Tribal weed speed 25 / AB46 / Tribal Delta Sym 16.
PS thanks for the Bridesmaids for giving me shit while downloading and providing wine (especialy Dazza J).

669 days ago Lake George, SA, AU gun 74 L speed and 6.3 23 super weed.
ripped 7.0 in first hr -fix
then ripped 6.3 twice so nothing day just fixing sails, testing fins and tried hr on speed board . result was on 29 hr but 5 jybes missing the wind and then hitting the bottom costs big time on speed board.
