Coodanup, WA, AU Another spectacular day..warm, sunny and good company. Met our new team member, young Rueben. Rigged up my challenging Turbo 6.5, was great but the wind got a bit stronger…Is there a pb for hanging on for dear life? 😂 Too lazy to change down so kept going as long as I could. Tabou board and fangy fin. Here’s hoping for more of the same tomorrow 🤞🏼

Great day at Coodanup. I tried out a new board that I inherited from Rob, my dad. Water was nice. It was choppier than I would've liked but that's alright. I nearly did a nautical mile run. To sum it up it was really fun.Cool

Nice cruise until i stepped onto a cobbler or Angle fish. Sailed for another hr but the pain got too much so packed up. wind was good but water choppy.

Coodanup with Gloria, The Shroom, Rob , Fangy, Basil and Hammer. Saw Richo and Reg? in the distance.

A nice 16 - 18 kn SW, small chop. 6.2Koncept, 85 Sonic, 22 FF

It took a while to get used to my new harness lines today after snapping one last session.

They felt so short! I had to move my boom down and the mast foot back just to get comfy.

I put on the 85 Sonic today with the intention of practicing gybes. It is not my fastest board, but comfy, so I sacrified a bit of speed, but I felt like I made a breakthrough with the alphas. The breakthrough was flipping the rig earlier. "Be sure to flip early, Curly" as the song "50 ways to stuff an alpha" goes. I think I have learnt a lot about gybing from writing that song... Even though I didn't score a PB, my alpha was in my top 5, and I had 4 alphas over 17.5, so pretty happy with that.

My plan was to change to the Manta 54, but By the time I had everything dialled in I was leg weary and decided to call it a day.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Gusty and swirly, but it was wind. Broke a panel in the sail, not sure how.

Foil @ Foilville.

Started on the 900 wing + 7.0, but that got too big quick when the breeze booted in, so changed down to the 725 wing + 6.0, which was much better.

Fun sesh dodging the boats in the channel and going for a few bearaways into the flats at Foilville.  Much nicer than yesterday, which was a white knuckle ride from go to woe!

Safety Bay

My 2nd run here and wind similar to a couple of days ago so went up a sail size and made some incremental improvements. Next time I'll put up a race sail as getting the hang of the place. Might sound like I'm being a bit cautious but I find no point throwing myself in the deep end as it takes the fun out of it. Fox95/WS33/GA Cross 6.4

HOT water Richo, as hot as you can stand it. And make sure there is no barb left in the wound.

Richo you looked like you were going well.

Well done on the PBs Pinnas. Gloria you were lookig very comfotable on the water today.  Reuben i met you up at Lano last month. you sprained your ankle or wrist  i think from  skateboarding so you couldnt sail. Great to  see you today and you looked like your were having so much fun on the water. I  truely believe that one day youll be the fastest on the water. Great sailing with you  today young man.

I'm ok, my foot is swallon and tender but she'll be right. Ive done the hot water and a few nips of bourbon. Sealed

Reuben, make sure you use mast foot pressure to keep the nose of the board downwind when beach/water starting. That was your main issue when I was watching today.

Awesome result Gloria. Imagine if you had managed an alpha and got a clean sweep of PB's! I love how this is as much about getting PB's as being fastest. I have to admit the days of going out for a leisurely sail seem to be over, though! I have also taken on board some gybing hints from your lyrics, Anita, including making sure to flip earlier, and have seen some improvement.
