Andy Weatherill (2506km): Stash and I arrived at 1:30am. I had a shitty sleep only getting a few hours. We hoped for some really strong wind early but we were slow getting started and the forecast didn't quite eventuate. It was very inconsistent- a lot of time off the plane but then humming when the squalls came through. Good times with mates and happy with a few pb's even if the session didn't quite live up to my expectations.
Jack Bogan (3705km): LG The Spit 92 Patrk 5.5 KA Race 18 DElta XT50 What a hoot. So glad I went out after wimpering out yesterday.
Sammy (43182km): Same gear as yesterday and similar speeds What a fun way to end the trip. plenty of 27 Alpha's in my life but can't crack a 28 😭😭😉😉
Peter Daish (26108km): Lake George, SA, AU 0 to 40 knots on 98 L 22 atomic , 6.2 gun sail. data lost I think on squal of the day, ( 60 kms is missing ?) but PB 42.8 2 sec on garmin but dont know here that has gone.? good to know the 98 can fly with 35 knots behind it.
started on speed board and 5.7 at 8am waited 3 hrs only to come in and miss the 10 year squal!! so dissapointed but yeah, I watched in ankle deep water in the mud, holding gear from blowing away. sometimes it comes down to "mins".
Captain bogan (50569km): Lake George - 10 to 30 with some crazy rain squalls. Last day at LG - so short window to leave at lunch so took out the slalom Patrik 87 / Loft racing blade 5.6 and Tribal Delta 20 - great combo alot more fun than the speedy yesterday. Managed a couple of alphas a mile and a few squirts and called it a day to head home - had a ball. Great road trip with Full Bogan Sam as usual - cheers mate can't wait for the next trip...
NeedSpeedStash (7491km): frustrating day but some good numbers. It was all about the squals!! |
