Sunny day, great company and wind… what more do you need? Tried my best to head upwind to no avail, so decided just to have fun.
6m Severne NCX, Tabou rocket. 😀 I actually had a previous session but I somehow deleted it 🤦♀️

Nice day at Melville, gusty as usual, with flat water over the sandbank for those with delta fins.

After yesterday's long dry drive I stayed local and waited for solid green arrows before downing tools. Wind was already SSW by the time I arrived and Ricey had made his last run, must be a misprint on Ricey's age. Predominanty stuck to the sandbar to avoid the holes out the back. Heaps of water so no stress accross the sandbar. Short runs and a few dropped gybes in deep water meant the hour was pretty ho-hum, about 40 minutes in teh mast track slid all the way forward making the sail much easier to handle. Good fun chasing darky's to gybe in.

626 days ago Safety Bay - First proper go at a slalom event so speed wasn't so much on my agenda as just getting around the buoys and completing the course. A lot to learn for sure! Top job by Ant winning the event. AV68/MFC Weedburner34/SV Turbo7.0
