Peter Daish (26108km): Lake George, SA, AU 10 to 25 SSW, cold and wet , but tough day, lake still smooth but weed to contend with, is strategic at best. endless amount of glass. FMX 118, 7.7 GUN GSR, 24 tribal full delta. back now after 24 hr trip 2 am and great day supporting Stash to his first 400km and we think?? the points needed for number 1 ranking in the world for GPS. Stash Number 1 and me number 2 ( we think) is a real dream come true. 5 years ago we though about getting back into speed saling after a 30 year break hoping we could break the 30 knot barrier again. So drinks all round this week, hopefully after Stash downloads. Endless days of racing each other , 100's of kms of testing fins sails and tuning has lead to this point. And a lot of bloody hard work. Up at 4:45 today rig in dark pack up in dark and rain. Distance is hard but rewarding. And completes the game of GPS Challenge. Captain Carl put in a stella performance with sailing all day too and trying some speed at the end of the day. Shane was there as a normal person lol, sailing about 3 hrs. Great to see a lot of the team on the water. Tried an hour at the 250 km mark but not enough go go consistent wind. happy with that and also PB for my 118 L board , 7.7 and big big fin for speed. Soooo close to 40.
NeedSpeedStash (7491km): Lake George, SA, AU Patrik 115, Point-7 7.9 and Tribal 24 delta. Mega session which started and finished in the dark with Pete and Carl, for another PB! Crazy to think we drove 400kms form Adelaide, then did that distance again, sailing! My old 2014 P7 sail barely made it. If it wasn't for Pete stepping in to fix it while I sailed his gear, would probably not have made it - cheers mate - legend!! I don't know how many thousands of kms that sail has done but after eight years of sailing, it has earned its retirement!! Never thought it would last that long! Cheers

Captain bogan (50569km): Lake George - Golden lake - 10 to 25 knots. Fun and long day with Daishy and Stash. Arrived in the dark and got boards ready. Woke up at 5am and rigged, quick brekky and on the water just before 7am. The aim was k's - aiming for 400. Rigged the 115 and decided on the 6.9 so could switch to the 87 with the bigger arvo forecast. By lunch time had just under 200 and was on track. The wind gradually picked up and mid arvo the gusts were 25 odd knots. Managed a 37 knot on the dial with 115 - pb for this board and some much fun crusing in the glass and weed. Decided to head in for food and board change. In hindsight should have stayed on 115 lol. The wind seemed to drop back a touch and was harder work to get going. Managed to get half way up the lake and with the rising weed had to smash thru alot of weed - but so flat - absolute glass glass and more glass!!! Worked out at 5pm only having 1 hour left and at 300 odd k's i would smash a few alphas and speed runs. Only managed a couple of good speeds but happy to almost have a 40 knot peak on 6.9 pb for that size sail - very happy!!! Packed up in the dark and with 3 of us driving - all knacked - seeing a deer and a kanagaroo we all made it home at approx 2am. Body very sore today but definitely worth it. Thanks for the trip crazy Daishy great numbers and k's and well deserved PB k's for Stash . Patrik 115 . Patrik 87 / 6.9 loft racing blade - Tribal 24 / Tribal 20.
