Great session, nice consistent breeze and the PD washing machine was dialled down a couple of notches. And no one else out!

469 days ago Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Fun little arvo sesh off the mudpit with B1! Out on the water around 1:30pm.
Started off with a steady 15kn SE breeze with a few higher gusts. Good cruising for the first 45mins or so before the wind backed off & turned more to a flukey Southerly direction which made it for marginal planing conditions with my rig.
In hindsight starting an hour or more earlier would have been better when the wind reports were very solid.
Still very nice to get out on water and even better to have B1 for company. Great seeing you back out there mate!
Used the Jag 108, Severne 7.8 M4, Tribal 38

Some days, this sport really lets you know that you havnt spent enough time on the water. Felt so under done, nothing felt right. Great to catch up with B2 but. Actuaally, really enjoyed the chin wag at the end my meager session.
On arrival, just on low tide, it was honkin. I thought ....Shite.... Rigged "Fat & Comfortable" - and headed out with B2 in hot pursuit. Thought id get a NM out of the way whilst the breeze was full and heavy. Thought better of it, 500m out, when I was very quickly realizing that the wind had a heap of south in it, so I quickly did a uturn in the hope I could claw back the ground, but alas, I spent the next hr trying not to get in a "walk of shame".
Then the wind dropped to breeze, barely enough to keep forward motion on a very tightly downhauled 7.8. Thats when the swearing started . Couldnt win a trick. Watched B2 up near Machans putting on a show, whilst dredging my way home. Looked the goods mate. Very noice effort.
Used: WT72, OD2 7.8, WT42 - Just need more TOW.
