Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Fun little light wind arvo solo sesh off the mudpit on the big gear.  Dying breeze 14~12kn SE.

First go with the Severne 8.6 M4 used along with the Jag 125 & Venom 48.  I've found the difference in power to be much more noticable when adjusting the boom position higher with the M4 sails compared to previous models & I like it.

Just another beautiful sunny day in Far North QLD Tropical Paradise which made for a very pleasant afternoon scooting around in boardies of course!

Port Douglas

Great session. Very steady wind and chop was dialled down. The 6.2 Koncept was very powered up the whole time. Never fell in, plenty of fast runs. Swapped boards mid session to test the new F-Race against the 2011 Manta. The Manta is clearly faster. Better top end. Accelerates quicker, more responsive to direction changes and hold speed better through gybes. What's the F-Race better at? Not sure! It is more planted in the water and doesn't get squirelly in big gusts. Not quite as exhilarating, but less likely to result in a spectacular crash. Overall the F-Race was about a knot slower than the Manta (21.2kts v 20.3kts over 30min). Best sail in PD this year foe me. Shame Ed wasn't out.

Cracked 20kts for the 1 hour for the first time in Port Douglas (from memory). I always thought it's too rough here to hold decent speed for a full hour. But the water was kinder today.

Started on Tabou Manta (Fury 34cm) swapped to Patrik F-Race (Phoenix 32cm). KA Koncept 6.2

Low Isles - ESE 19kt G22kt.

Yes Benny, definitely. Steadier today and it stayed on for most of the day. Low tide helped with the chop too. Clearly we had a lot more wind up here than you. It was solid on the 6.2 for me, never off the plane.

You certainly get good speed from that 8.4 in light winds. Super efficient.👍
