Cootharabean (16087km):
528 days ago Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU went out with 7.8 tuned for light wind. Thought I would change to 7.0 when it increased. Headed up towards top of lake and the wind picked up quite a bit. Wanted to try for an hour so didnt want to stop and put on more downhall etc, so just hung on. Rig was too big so was hanging on tight and just trying to survive. Couldnt really go fot it. The hour seemed to take a very long time. Came in after an hr and changed down to 7.0 but stuck with the 114. Wind then dropped a lot. Had a few short runs, screw came out of footstrap( which earlier on Neil had told me to check!) and called it a day. So good to get out for a sail today with some Pie Rats and Vikings. Holfuy recorded 21.6-25.9 knots between 2 and 4 pm.
