Extremely variable at Melville today ... found a good gust but it was touch and go crossing the sandbank. Thankfully no fin damage for a change.

Coodanup, WA, AU

sailed at Coodanup with Anita today , we wanted to usea 7 mt but water was too shallow for bigger fins

 both rigged  a 6.2 mt far too small for most of the day

i did a lot of walking to get back, about  800 mts

Wind started out 16 - 18 kn but quickly died and was only 10 kn at the finish, making it a challenge for some to get back.

One of the saddest days of my life.

Only consolation was a pretty reasonable alpha, given that top speed in and out was 21 - 22 kn.
