254 days ago Denham, WA The wind was that light that the kiters were giving up and I decided to have an early dinner at the pub (with my gear rigged on the beach just in case) but had to chow down and finish my beer (just a middy) and take off when the wind came in. Apologies to my wife who just arrived this afternoon but she knows the score. Anyway, that's the way Denham rolls with the breeze sometimes turning up late and building from there. It was probably around 18 kn max but by sunset it was getting stronger and I reckon it's easily 25kn now at 8pm. (Don't believe Seabreeze!) Though it was a tad stronger than yesterday, being a SSW makes it a fair bit more choppy in the bay than in the westerly yesterday so hard to go as fast. AV68/MFC34/SV Turbo 7.0
