Rathies NSW, AU 5.5 Hydra 1500 flow. Great sail considering the jellies, weed and on off wind. I spotted Andy as I was gong out but I suspect he did a Pulbar run ashe disappeared southwards. Wind came in nicely as I was coming in (I should have waited but who was to know). New experiemce for me, as I was coming in the Westpac rescue helicopter came over the top of me,the downwash was a new experience that I'd be happy to not epeat again.

Jimmy’s beach NSW au. Damn what a battle. I went up to mungo with the intention of getting lucky from white tree bay. The whole race fleet was getting lucky across the other side all flying but it didn’t look good from white tree. Driving up there I was looking at a massive storm just north. No good from white tree. I headed home. East breeze so I tried it at winda woppa. The mile was better than no mile atall. It wasn’t that bad. And i went just about 10kts faster than I did yesterday. 🤣 There was some wind while rigging but It died off once I got out. Patrik F-race 120, Ezzy 8.5, ff28

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU SE 12 -18 + and great racing for the first two races where race 3 was a tad more than I liked with a sail light wind setting. Came in for a sailDH … and the wind dropped. Thanks all . Great weekend. Levi’ 150 phantasm 926 Ezzy 6.0

Formula 159 Flow 1500 Sailworks NX 7.1 Afternoon session

Got rid of the tail wing spacer. Seemed a bit harder to get on the foil but seemed more stable.

Last day of gps/slalom comp at Myall Lakes.

Perfect Easterlyish wind for 2x rounds till it started to be too strong for a few of us.

Big mistake!...should have stayed. The ones that stayed got it right but at the end of the day we all came home smiling.

Shame we have to wait so long for the next event there.

HUGE THANKS to everyone who contributed to make this event.

Patchy 5-11kts a  few bits 10-13kts SSE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m Turbo- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms Tectonics weed demon

Andrew and I both rigged about 1.30. He went out and disappeared while I read. It was predicted to pick up later.

I usually wouldn't bother, but it seemed to be coming in a bit about 3.30 and the kit was rigged, so I went out for exercise value.

All the jellies were washed around the southern point of Coal. I've never worried about them before but they were really thick. I was slogging in sloppy chop and  hoping I wouldn't fall into them!

I got going in a few stronger puffs and was surprised how well I got through the lulls ( so long as there was a gust on the other side). The gybes are improving and I surprised myself with some pretty slick footwork. It was pretty flat though  so now I just need to be able to do them in stronger wind and chop. Undecided

Of course it kicked in to a nice  10 -15kts after I took my wetsuit off. Yell

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU My first race meeting … The NSW Championship - what a crazy choice! But absolutely loved the experience & unloved the take-outs (Bryce x 3 times). 🤔

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU

NSW State Slalom/GPS event. Nice 8-15 knot S/E that peaked and then dropped causing some of the racers gear choice issues.

FFF175 , 8m HGO , IQ 95+ 900. Stayed out for the 4 Fig8 Slalom races on this gear and worked well in the changing wind strength.

Big thanks to all the fellow Windsurfing crew that come to the Myall Lakes event and make this a great time away.
