sboardcrazy (25098km): Day 2 - Lake George - sailed 12 - 3 pm with breaks 13 - 19kts SSE Cockies Lake George SA Well that was a total blast ! Mojos back.. 5.7m Gator - WT57- 28cm WT weedy A few more knots in the lulls would have been nice but well powered in the gusts. The WT just ate the small 6" - 1 ft chop for breakfast. It was even flat enough to try for some powered up gybes.Too old.I ran out of puff quickly. I got 3 nice gybes ( non planing but good.) Hopefully I'll improve by the end of the trip. I find the WT less forgiving ( keeping speed - they are much safer than my slalom boards in chop ). I need to get better at doing more advanced gybes. The slalom boards will be breeze if I get it right with the WT's. 10 / 10 fun. I wish Coal Point chop was like that and it's so nice to be able to stand up in the middle of the lake. No great stats but the most fun I've had in ages. I'm having trouble posting so I'll do the story each day and upload when I get help. Quite a few at Cockies. I went out early as I wasn't sure how ' bad ' it was going to be. Everyone else went out when I'd worn myself out. Happy happy
