Lipstick Beach and Point Grey.  Frnotal winds 5 to 25kts, not much flat water even at Point Grey, and in the flattest water was the wind shadow.  One of those better than working sails.

Tabou Manta 71, NP RSR E8 7.0m, JP Weed 36cm

After work session at Novara in the lumpy goodness.

Most of the session working upwind forthe naughtical mile send over the lumpy goodness, wanted to do another butstuffed my gybe and landed on the sail snapping the bottom batten.

So sent it again on the way back into shore and that was me done for the day.

Turns out it was a blessing in disguise as I found the mast base very loose and right up the end of the mast track.

Some batten repairs tomorow for me.

Good times

Peel Inlet, WA, AU CA66 rb5.6 tws27 first day back on the water after carpal tunnel six weeks ago. Second gybe fell and hit my wrist on the adjustable out haul cleat . Yes that wrist. Removed skin in two places but fortunately not internal damage from what I can gather. I’m off the water again till it heals. Again. . Will be well padded in future. 🥺

Doh I missed it too, passed at my local and saw Tim packing, thats when I realised I missed a session lol tomorrow maybe again

Reading Joe feels like have not missed much, but missing the spot

Reading Elmo, look like there is plenty lumpy goodness at Novara left, just scared to sail there, last time I exploded a 250$ carbon Pepe at the first run, never went back, too many hidden rocks

Reading Waricle.. you could not resist could you, becarefull young man, prior preparation!! Get better quick or you be runing out wind! Give me a shout when you want your toy back.

I'm in trouble if I hit anything where Im sailing out in the middle Sammy, bugger all weed in the shallows nowadays for flats.

I'm just playing in the lumpy and ttrying to learn how to send it over that, still got a long way to go to get half as good as the Perth crew.
