317 days ago Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Forecast wind eventually arrived as the tide was getting very low. ..Lost fin bolts for my slalom board so went with:
Carbon Art OKE wave 82 + Severne Mach2 7.0 + 2 x 38 degree swept fins ..seemed to work OK control wise, managed a couple of gybes, but was getting stuck in weed every which way.
..came in managed to find some spare bolts the right length

..now very powered up with my 7.0, and feeling more fin drag with the Tribal than usual, there's a lot of weed these days! ..felt way too risky to gybe, so came in to change down. Between deriggiing 7.0 and rigging 5.0 and despite wearing gloves (tattered) cut a finger, blood everywhere, on all four car door handles, boot lid and 5.0 sail. ..Found a plaster and a cheap left hand gardening glove with no holes in it. ..By now I've missed most of some very nice windsurfing conditions, but anyway went back out and still had a nice bit of sailing with the 5.0
