At least it didn't rain and wasn't cold but the wind was fairly poor at maybe 5-11 knots . Good to see Justin visiting us

As in surfing whereas someone over east would call it 6ft, but on the west coast, that same size would only be called 3 or 4ft. Maree's call on light to moderate wind had me feeling like i was hanging onto a mack truck here.
Getting back downwind was not pretty, getting up the shore was less pretty,  though i survived introduction to the spit happily.
Stoked that company came out to follow.
Still not sure about depths so being cautious.
The fangy worked a bit too well today. I ran out of oomph to get it to go downwind.
Should have listned to Maree and not been too lazy to get my smaller board off the roof for a test.

An eery, surreal experience to head out here to sail as shooting happens. Beautiful views from that track.
