JP 175, SB 800.115.255, 8.0m

Southwest 12-20

8-10 whilst rigging. So rigged big. Then it came in like yesterday, except rain instead of sunshine.

Spent most of the session hanging on for dear life.

Just me, Swoozzi and Gert.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Mistral Devil, Axis ART 1099, Neil Pryde 8.2m V8

Looked similar to Sunday when 7.2m was not big enough so went 8.2m. Enough power to foil from one side of the bay to the other. So headed up to Valentine. Breeze came in to 20 knots so decided to head back.

Completely overpowered so tried to see how the big foil would go downwind in the conditions. Could feel the foil flexing going down the waves but behaved much better than expected.

Good use of a Roster Day.

5-15kts then 10-15kts SSW Valentine, NSW, AU

 7.5m Tabou Bullit - 7.5m Turbo- 38cms Tectonics weedy

I was still exhausted from yesterday so only a short session. I started off  falling in because I was so tired and then uphauling would make me more tired so more stacks..Undecided Finally got it together in the last half.

Valentine is much flatter than Coal. There were some rollers but at least they were regular. Could have used the 112ltre at the end but I wasn't staying out long so just stayed with the bigger board.

That's the most wind I've sailed that board in so the 2 sec is a board PB.. I was worried the fin would be too big but so far no worries. I'm starting to like that combo if it's not too lumpy.

Just me with a few wingers.
