5 - 9 Kt E Coal Point, NSW, AU

Sailed 2.30 - 3.55 with cam issue break etc

 7.5m Turbo - 125ltre Tabou Bullit - 38cms Tectonics weedy

Another longboard session to build up the body.

It didn't start well. I beachstarted and sailed off . There was a fishing kayak coming in with rods and I thought all his lines were downwind but saw I'd caught line over the sail.Yell

I dropped in and yelled to him to wait as he was winding in and the hook would have got me. I took up all the slack and threw the hook towards him.

I find scrambling on exhausting ..Got up and realised the boom cam had popped off so gybed and back in to fix that.

By now I was muttering about going home. Undecided

The sail is getting old. I need to put more downhaul on but I had forgotten . I'd also decided as there was no wind I'd try a little less downhaul, but Turbos don't work that way. I'll give it an extra notch next time.

Finally got going . It was nice to have a consistent wind just enough to pull against the sail and be stable as long as you didn't lean out.

It kicked in to 10kts + for a short time as I derigged but it was late and  I'd had enough.

 Just me as usual.

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU

That was a short session but still enjoyed it. A bit on the windy side. I suppose up to 16 knots  at times but more like good springtime weather which we have been waiting for. Out with Greg putting a bit of money in the bank.

Tomorrow should be nice around 8-12ish if the forcast is true?

Bit of a sad story Sue.🥲

You could be foiling in that  wind.
