Liptons easterly direction 12/15kts fab sail. Of course picked up while derigging probably got to 13/17kts. For those interested in a weed report.  Not a lot of weed in front of carpark, or in Liptons Bay, was choppy on a medium tide, in only light to moderate winds, so not looking good for speedsailing, I'm hoping Point Grey has some weed or it might be rough water this season??  If that's the case, I might see if we can move Fangy's closer to Wannanup, coz I'm certainly not driving 15 kms for a windsurf

Albany, WA, AU CA63 SCR6.3 PEPE21.5 light/moderate increasing to fresh later in the afternoon. Weather Started gloomy so didn’t bother starting till lunch when the wind came back after a rainy lull that lasted for about an hour. Ronnie came for a look but left so had Cliff and Deano for company. Tide was good, the sun came out and wind picked up. Who could ask for more? I ran aground and broke my boomhead. I had a kilometre walk back from the other side of the bay to consider the wisdom of attempting to sail thru 100 mm of water with a 200 mm fin. By the time I got back in and changed booms I was too knackered to enjoy the best of the afternoon breeze. I had a short final session and scored my two sec on the run back in. Another great if, if interesting, Albany day.
