43 days ago Patchy up and down 5 - 18kts SSW- S Valentine, NSW, AU
Sailed 1pm - 3pm with a short break.
6.5m Turbo - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy
125ltre tabou Bullit for a few runs.
WT57 one underpowered run
Dreary and showers . It was supposed to be 20kts plus so I rigged small and was underpowered most of the time. It was ok in the gusts but there weren't many of them.
I'm surprised at how far across I went. I made a point of going further than normal but it still looks like I've only gone halfway. The wind got too patchy further over.
7.2m would have been better but I was too tired to manhandle gear to day.
Hugh was out winging early . Andrew visited and bought the wind. I was trying to hold the WT64 on the water so I rigged the 90 ltre but of course as soon as I hit the water it died down and I couldn't get going. Not powered up enough for bearaways.
Heaps of wings and Jeff went out windfoiling as I packed up.
