Jimmy's beach, nsw, au. Ezzy Lion 7.5, JP SLW 165, 120Ltr patrik Frace 47cm carbon. Backwards upside down wind for this place but well good enough. A bit of work in the chop.
I was close to making one start and i dropped the sail. Good fun to chase the pack after that.
After that, i walked up for lunch and missed other races. I went out later when the racing was good and the chop less, had trouble going upwind to where the races were (spinout) so i stayed on the inside and had more fun in the sun.

Patchy 10-14kts WSW then patchy 10-17kts S Jimmies

7.2m Moto - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics

1 run 125ltre Tabou

 1 run WT57 - 90ltre

 Not racing.

Should have had the 7.5m on most of the time. It looked windier than it was.. Underdone on the 112ltre . Couldn't get going. Out on the 125ltre and not much better. Kicked in later , I needed a big board for the lulls but then the board was too big to be fun in the chop.

I was buggered before I started and after taking 2 rigs and 3 boards to the beach I didin't have much energy for sailing.Undecided

Got one run on the 90 which was bliss in the gusts but not enough in the lulls.

Ran out of energy just as it got good..Yell

I'd love to have some stronger more consistent wind so I can use the 90. There were some nice flatter areas up near Winda Woppa. I surprised myself by getting my gybes up there.

I rested on the shore a bit but it was tiring starting in the 30cms shorebreak with patchy wind..

Hopefully I can wait till there's more wind tomorrow.

Jimmy

Now, this sorted them out....and l am out. Just a bit too much for me. Could only do 2x races in this 7-18 knot breeze. Too big chops that wore me out even though l only blew a couple of jibes.  Berry an Andy were faster.

However, it always is money in the bank as usual.
