10-18kts S- SSE Valentine, NSW, AU

 7.2m Moto- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 32cms WT weedy

6.5m Turbo for a few runs

I was due for some more gybe analysis video as I haven't had any since last summer. It was a solid 20kts + S early on so I hoped for some epic footage but by the time I got there it had turned more SSE and died.

I was surprised the 7.2 was a good combo over the other side but I wore out very quickly and dropped to the 6.5m which was easier but less powered.

More fun  than I thought it would be looking at it.

3 fins! Steve , Paul and I  and 1 wing then Hugh out winging later.

I'm keen for a couple of days at home doing nothing..

PS - He got some surprisingly good video especially considering I was on the ' big ' board'. Surprised

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU. No way that was my top speed! I was full sending it through the chop, in control, giving it the berries, it was solid 20kts SSW. I was sure i was going way faster as i was coming up to the markers very quick today. My GPS has got to be dodgy..Laughing

f-race 120ltr, Ezzy Lion 6.5, 42cm

Upside down nor easters in spring are not the norm based on last few years, but i wont complain about that. After the regatta was here and seeing whats possible in these conditions, it was fun to go back and try. Happy to have found a bit of a groove through the chop.

The wind died and i put the 6.5 on the SLW 165ltr with flight AL for the second try on foil.
Walking out, I felt a bit bummed thinking it would take a long, long time to learn to foil. But then i got a few decent flights i was very happy with. So now i'm stoked, can't wait to go and try again.
