Melville Beach, WA, AU Came relatively early to try and get a park.  Most sitting around waiting.  Went out and first couple of runs were ok/the best and not too crowded so looked promising..this of course got everyone else rigging and it was soon more crowded than yesterday.  Wind turned to super gusty garbage, fully lit one second to nothing and spent the most time in a long time in the water trying to water start in no wind.    Don't think every had a clear path to get some speed and most times just felt dangerous.   Tried my luck over the sand bar to escape the masses and just made it across but on way back judged it was tooo sketchy so came in.  Looks like most others had enough and came in.  By the time rigged down or the beers were cracked the wind filled in and we all watched Kwon and a few others ripping around in relatively uncrowded waters.   So more chatting than sailing today.  Nice to meet you Damo

Port beach

Looked a bit light so decided to hit the coast with Boz. Surprisingly there was enough wind for 7m 110 and 36mk2.

Had a ball. Wind was a bit south and the swell mixed in with wind chop took out any smooth spots. Not a fast day but good fun getting powered up at times and sending it through the slop. Was a bit light on the inside but that was the only time not planing.

Gotta do that more often. Its only ~10 minutes from Melville.

Nice session on the Swan with Windtech CM + 7.0 Ezzy Lion. Have to join Boz & Slowie at Leighton sometime. One of my old favourites. Sounds like they had fun.
