Green Island, QLD, AU

Track Details

An overseas holiday Ed wanted, Well, he got it.... Tongue out Very noice morning on the island. Pleranty of water across the flats, a pleasant 15kts that was actually stronger in the AM and seemed to waft out as the afternoon progressed. I reckon on arrival mid afternoon back in Cairns, it was stronger on the coast. Ed was the usual machine that he is, racking up the km's. The bugger couldnt get out onto the water quick enough Wink. Lots of dropped gybes for me, lots of fitness to catch up on, but itt was a very noice day indeed. Cheers for the company Edward.

Used: 72 WT SB, 7.8 OD M1, 42 WT .

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Couldn't make it over to Green Island with the lads today.  Snuck in a short solo sesh off the mudpit instead.

Rigged the Severne 7.8 M4 to go with the Jag 125 & Tribal 38 as it looked like a half decent breeze on arrival around 1pm.  Ended up very patchy/flukey, so on & off the plane, but managed to get a couple of half decent runs in before deciding to call it quits early.

Still all better than house chores!

Green Island, QLD, AU. Yeah had a GI session with' Top Gun Billy'..The tide was big so there was plenty of water on the drag strip for a good fun chop hopping session in about 15kts of breeze with some good fun gust coming through. Was gunna road test my new 7.8m but wasn't sure if the wind was gunna pick right up as it usually does over on the island..   So i rigged burnt out no cam 7m on 120 fox with home made 41.5 cm fin.. Had a fun session for a couple of hrs.and spent some time out wide playing in the waves and doing a few jumps.  But the wind started to drop a bit after lunch so i lost interest and packed up..Had some good fun drags with Billy who sailed really well today was good to see him back on the water and having a good blast .Guess it was worth rigging up for all good fun..Cheers Ed..
