M9re like it. Good little breeze. Warm water, warm wind with Àkos and Paul at the club.

WT64 ( 112ltres) - 7.5m Turbo - 35cms tectonics weedy

then 125ltre Tabou Bullit - 38cms tectonics weedy

I should have gone out on the big board from the start. The 112ltres was fun in the gusts but off the plane more and dodgier to gybe.

By the time I'd swapped down it had died a bit. Still pleasant. Not really enough for bearaways.

The big board was more forgiving for gybes. I could stuff them up and still stay dry. This was good as i could figure out what went wrong and try to fix it.

I ended up under the sail after one gybe. It took forever to swim out from under it and I was worried I'd run out of air. I stayed calm but I must have grabbed a mouthful of water as I was coughing badly for the next 1/2hr.

Just me and some wings. Jeff set off windfoiling as I was packing up.

I tried winging with my sail - not good - the pin on the bottom of uni unthreaded itself and popped off at speed. Board got a minor slash. I was ok, but the big walk back to get another uni hurt my bung leg. Got it and went back out to sail with Micheal before a couple of attempts at nauti but could'nt get there through the hole whirpool.
Micheal thinks his watch is broken becasue it said 30 and he didnt expect that. I think mine is broken becasue i expected it and and it's not.Laughing
Chasing speed is fun.
It's been an epic first visit to this amazing spot.

Thanks Maree. Yes I worked the place out a little more today. You gotta go Sue, it’s pretty nice. And clearly not too bad if disaster strikes and gear breaks.
