10-19kts Coal Point, NSW, AU

7.5m Turbo - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy

 then

 6.5m Turbo - WT57 ( 90ltres) - 28cms WT weedy

I went out early in case it switched off like yesterday. The 1st run above the point was horrible.

The chop was messy steep moguls , heaps of weed , too big a board and sail.

it was getting really strong towards Green point so I wasn't game to try a gybe. I dropped in and turned the board around.

It's the 1st time in a long time where I have been worried about getting back in one piece. Luckily it was a bit patchy and lighter out in front of Coal but it was still hardwork.

I swapped to the smaller 6.5m - 90 . I knew I'd be underdone in the lulls but it was much nicer. Good in the stronger stuff.

The chop had mellowed a bit , the weed dispersed , and it was generally more fun.

I had a rest and was intending to go back out but it started getting patchy. I'd  put most of the gear away including the larger board so I gave it a miss.

Just me and a few wingers , then Andrew and Nic. greg went out when it was starting to get dodgy and Byron turned up later.

I saw Nic do a foiling gybe with footchange on the wing..very impressive.

Just so good!

The wind God has been good to us lately even if the weekend is a wash out.

The warm water, wind is just a dream for my friend Àkos who is going back to minus 0 next week.

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Long day with small windows to grab some. First up i tried very light wind with JP SLW165, ezzy 6.5, ss ghost 101. There were micro gusts, enough to make it fly, then just a big hole on the other side to drop it back down again.
Then bam! It was real good, direction and strength shift. A few brief runs before it got strong. Too strong. Re-rigged to patrik f-race 120, ezzy 7.5, 40cm
Only a couple knots more top speed on that kit. I doubt the alpha was on the foil, although i did my best ones today. Felt like powered enough to fly around but i kept it low skipping on the water, full power coming back out and up onto the foil.

My brother going good with his foil kit then later went slapper too.

Too slow getting there. Wind didn't last long.
