Marmong Point, NSW, AU Easterly 12-18 knots …. 12 when I made sail decision. A soft sail. Ian set a short sprint course and good fun until wind picked up . W 125 926 Ezzy 6.7

Marmong Point, NSW, AU. Little bit overdone on a 7.0 today but fun nonetheless! Thanks Ian for setting a course - couple of races around a short course is a fantastic way to spice up a Saturday club sail!

Jimmy’s beach, nsw. Gear overload bit me in the ass. Hopeful for a good light-wind foil session, I loaded the beach buggy with only big gear and foil. Overpowered too much with SLW, 6.5, ss ghost 101. Went to put a fin in the SLW instead and found that bolts were in the road trip bus, so I was toast. Watched others sail and enjoyed the sun.

How good was that?

At last we're not lazy to bring out the boat and set up a slalom course.

Thanks to lan though as he is still off the water.

Wind came in quite well. Most of us were over canvased but managed to do around 6 races.  Barry was the fastest in a straight line, Bruce very consistent behind him, Mi ck, Brice , Geoffrey and  Russell not far behind.

With a bit of luck we can do it again tomorrow so, anyone else who wants to join is will be welcome!

JP HydroFoil 155 Flow 1500 Sailworks 7.1 then Gaastra 6.0

Started out around 11kns then went to 18. Did a couple slaloms with the boys, thanks Ian, but decided to change down before I had a catastrophe.

Good move the wind died while rerigging.

Barry, Mick, Tibor,Bruce, Croanster, Bear, Lyndon, the Forward boys and me, made for a good fleet.

Sounds like fun at lake mac. Too bad for Ian - sounds like no one’s wishing him a speedy recovery cause he’s so good in the boat ? 😁

He’s a legend in the boat! Will be even better to see him back out sailing though!!
