Rathies, NSW, AU 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow, Great session off Rathmines in the NEer. Bit tricky as it was very patchy and some of the bullets coming over Coal Point were pretty tough to handle.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE 15-18 knots + at times. A bit of a challenge in the gusts. Good turnout for the first day of the year. SS W125 G800 Naish 5.0

Marmong Point, NSW, AU. Best day of summer so far! Perfect NE 15-20 in the gusts. Fin day with 6.0 retro. Plenty of dust flying around too - I may have eaten a little again.

15-23kts + NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - level 0.21

Way more than the graph was saying.

 7.2m moto- Rs4 ( 112ltres) - 24cm FF

 few runs then

 6.5m turbo- Rs2 ( 90ltres) - 22cms Atomic

I went with the big gear thinking I'd be underpowered but it was way over the top. I could handle it but not much fun - 28.2kts - 17.85 alpha.

Back in to rig smaller. It kept getting stronger. some of the gusts were big. I went for a bearaway in one and got lifted. Luckily I fell backwards , landing still hooked sitting in the sail. One of my toes isn't happy..

Lucky I didn't catapult forward or it could have been nasty,

I pulled my head in a bit after that.

It kept buidling and it was getting dangerous with that combo so I pulled the plug. Pity I didn't have the 80ltre on. Undecided

I did some good gybes but , as usual ,  no decent alphas ..

Pb - nm . Still has a gybe in it but it's the 1st time I've had wind all the way into the shore.

 Some cracker wind lately!

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. Reason for a road trip was - 'it's a new year, maybe i'll get 30kts today'. So i left Jimmy's and the misso came along on. Met up with Gabe, Tom, Aza whom all went to the northern bank but it was too cool at the sailing club under palm tree's on lush green grass so i stayed there. Happy wife happy life decision.
Patrik f-race 120, 7.5, 23 pepe
Heading out i got belted, hat blasted off, way too much. So i went back for the 6.5 max downhaul.
It was a bit deep so not very flat.
A bit tricky figuring it out alone in a nor easter. Persevered for awhile as the tide dropped and it got flatter.
Again, plenty of sailors happy for a chat at the sailing club. Old greek accountant whom brought his board from Greece, Anastasios. Anthony. Don, Marcel the winger.
Big Lebanese bbq going down, they gave some us some meat sticks as we were staring at them after packing up, probably drooling, so that was pretty good.

Congrats Croanster.

My distance doesn't look much , but when you realise most of my sessions are only 15- 20kms its a lot!

PB's Croanster! Nice.

Interesting to see those numbers Andy. Thanks.

I'm coming to get some of Byron's armchair 30kt+ sailing next time. That sounds nice and easy Laughing

Thanks guys! MobZ I reckon I might have to do the same. Don’t think I can get much faster than 26 - 27 on the lake.
