Rathies, NSW, AU. 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow. Another awesome session. Would have loved a 20+ 5x10, so close. Happy with the alpha, amazingly versatile foil. Came back in to see if Jen was coming out and had to dog it all the way back out again.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. I think my teeth must have got sunburnt Laughing. I saw lightning at the same time everyone else seemed to be going in, so that was it.
f-race120, ezzy 7.5, 23 pepe - very good, very smooth
carve 99, ezzy 6.5, 19 delta - the wind stopped then, so this wasn’t real good
back out on the f-race 120 with 6.5 and all good, sweet sailing.

15 - 19kts NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level - 0.20

6.5m turbo - Rs2 ( 90ltre) - 22cms atomic

I started early and went for an hr. Probably the perfect conditions for a Budgy hr - consistent wind until the end where there were a few lulls and I came off the plane after gybing. Everything was going great . The watch was saying 18.9 / 19kts so I'm disapoointed in the result.

B front footstrap pulled out at the 57 min mark. It was interesting doing powered up gybes without any footstraps..Undecided then i stacked my last gybe at 59 min mark..Yell I can't believe  how much that knocked it down grr..I think I got a better hr yesterday without trying. Yell

 I don't think I'll bother again.Undecided

Oh well at least I finally got an ok alpha. Looks like I can gybe wider than I have been.

I did some nice gybes , most planing. I only did 1 or 2  bearaways in the hr.

Came in for a rest and then back out and it was patchy and not really enough for decent bearaways. Glad I didn't take the smaller gear I had waiting out.

I did  run straight across in the deep and there are some big weedbeds out in the middle..Surprised

I think I'll be happy top have a day off tomorrow.

Mobsy , me , Bruce , Mike , Pugs , Maree, Lajos, Mick H plus others for the late shift.

Thanks kind people for the encourgment.

Now if only i could go nearly as fast as Bruce, i'll be very happy.
And gybe like Sue, 20kter would be nice.
Anyway i'm getting ahead of myself, just nice to sail, not hit the bottom, and have a ball of fun with some fine people, last two days must have been some of the best sessions for me ever so far i reckon.

Lovely alpha, Sue, and a great session all round, if not all as hoped.

Hours are hard work, and rarely have good conditions for the full hour.

Thanks Anita. I put the go pro on yesterday to check out what I'm doing with the gybes.

Looking at it the wind was dying the last 15 minutes ( even without the footstrap and stack).
