Fun day in the sun. light wind great tide and wind direction, just light and holey.

6.6Koncept for a change, the 60cm board and 20cm@55 deltoid.

Long runs in the flat with the occasional streak of glass.

Tried to do alphas, but I couldn't line up a gust on the other side of the gybe, had to pump back onto the plane.

Quite a bit of groveling, but it's easy on the 60cm, a lot of pumping though have given me sore shoulders.

But I' pleased with how I feel after 2 days in a row.

This new board has restored my mojo. That's 3 sessions in a row, that haven't been golidlocks conditions for me, but I enjoyed them all the same.

At the end of a long weekend, you have to decide whether the sail is going to be worth the traffic. I am pleased to say the sail justified the drive. Not much puff but some lovely patches of clear water to glide across. I wanted to try out some experimental small smooth water fins, so I just ducked in and out of The Hook swapping them over. The bulbed fin was disappointing, low drag but low handling ability. The Blowfish, an excessively thick chord on a short fin was much friendlier, but probably too draggy in its current form. After yesterdays' efforts with Le Escargot, it was only a short session for me.., just in case he was looking for payback.Embarassed

the drive worthwhile.Glad it worked out for yous fellas.!!
