I need a rest day Early shift 9.45 - 11.30am I might have to start going out in more wind on smaller gear or at least use a smaller fin. The launch was exhausting..I found a new way to get through the worst of the mud. Flip the board fin up , sail in the air then kneel and crab sideways into the firmer stuff. Tiring and slow but better than trying to walk through it. Went for one Brown pants exhilarating bearaway through the chop. Only got 28.3 but cripes it was scary.. OK once out. A bit patchy but nicely powered. Not enough for powered bearaways. Just Fitzy and I at 1st.It was just starting to get good when I called it a day. He's a bleedn energiser bunny! He was powering through an hr as I left. I strained a few muscles today. I muffed a gybe and my right leg went into the mud and couldn't move while the rest of me kept going. Hamstring twice..Doesn't feel too bad now but I might research massage therapists.
