Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP SLW, Ezzy Lion 7.5, SS Ghost foil 101. I was a bit worried going over the other side where the wind stopped and wave / current action was happening but all good, came home no worries. I think the wind was effected by yaccaba over there, perhaps. On the contrary, i'm learning where the wind funnels off Yaccaba when up close in a certain spot, it's sending right out into the heads though so a bit dodgy.
Barley 10kts wind. 8.5 sail might have been better. It was a bit of work to keep going. Enjoyed learning to pump onto the foil better though.

One nice run then nothing. Put up with it for half an hour and came in.Got changed and the wind came back for half an hour.

I hate westerlies.

Usual 5kts with occasional 50m patch 15kts plus NW

5m Naish Matador- 130ltre fone Rocket - 1800 front wing

I almost didn't bother as it looked crap but it was 35 degrees and I was there so out I went.

On and off but certainly better on a wing than a fin

Put my tips into practice. I was well overpowered in the gusts but that worked well as I could power the wing from above my head.

I think I got foiling once and stayed on for 10m . Tiring drifting downwind when there was no wind and coping with the gusts.

Feeling more in control and there were some less experienced people out for once which was nice..

I was clambering back on a lot and wore out quickly which was frustrating.

Looking forward to a good fin in the Southerly at Valentine tomorrow  

Hopefully I haven't jinxed it.

I'm going in for an operation on Thursday and then I'm not allowed to exert myself and no  watersports for 6 weeks grr
