MobZ (5564km):
14 hours ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP SLW, SS ghost foil. Dipped into something way above my pay grade for a moment. Powerful ground swell coming into the bay today. After i turned out in the middle i was looking at a set roll through the bomby. I let a few go as i approached slowly, trying to see from the back how heavy they were breaking, couldn’t tell. All I could tell was that they were feathering so definitely kinda breaking at least. I moseyed on in to the zone and gave a little crack at one to investigate further and came off the back. Now well in the zone and realised that if one of these break proper I’d be toast. I got on the second last one and it rolled me through to the edge of the bomby so all good. Most the session I could not get flying today, but didn’t mind cruising back upwind slow, comfy in harness not flying.
