Albany, WA, AU A bit of flats first thing in the morning didn’t last long and wind hadn’t filled in. Tide came up quick and became chop city, fun sending it but a few on the edge moments when I misjudged where the open water was. Tide dropped late arvo but a tad too quick and became draggy. Good crew out, busso boys, cliff, slowie, stretchy, the big dog and Mr extraordinaire The Ant. Think Gloria and Pete were out as well. All in all a good little session.

Super stoked to get some power so late in the season :) Good team turnout today and good have Slowie and Stretch out with us. Was a early start with Boz out at first light and Rondog and me joining him at 7 hoping for some flats, was pretty good water state with 38,39 runs but tide filled quick and was to bouncy, did not stop lockwood with a huge sail and board sending it :O . Waited for the tide turn and went back out for some smother runs, was a couple knots quicker but felt slower than the choppier runs :)) Powerd by the 5.8 SCR,47M,18,20 Delta sym.

7m 110 radix/98 rapid, 26 weedmax/27 weedspeed

Sneaky session at lilacs. Got there at high tide but since the forecast wasn't looking super trustworthy decided to make the most of the wind that was there. Rigged big expecting it to drop. Started on the big board and had a ball. Great fun using a normal weedy. Max speed was 39.8 and two of my fastest 10sec for the day were in the chop. Was a good workout on the 7, and was feeling pretty tired so came in for a bit to refuel.

Tide was still up so went back out on the rapid 98/57 speed with a 27 weedspeed. Wind had picked up a bit and so did the speeds. Rest of my runs were on this combo. Fastest run was sending it south on port tack away from the bank through the chop- thats just where the gust was so I went. Wind backed off again so came in for more food and a rest.

Thought I had more time before the tide got low, so swapped the 27 weedspeed for the 20 delta sym and headed back out. According to my gps I was on shore for an hour! oops. Sailing up it was nuking. Strongest wind of the day. The other guys were sending it on the bank. When I got up there I was too late. It was already too shallow for the 20 so I sailed back down to lilacs end, and did runs there. With a lot of north in the wind it was crap down there. I didn't get any good runs at all.

So my best speeds were all in high tide using normal weedspeeds in less wind. Crazy.

Wind backed off again so called it quits. Thunderstorm rolled in and it started pissing down.

Stoked the other guys managed to increase their speeds by a couple of knots up the top in that last window. Nice one. I mistimed it but maybe next time I'll be able to join you.

mind boggling numbers seems the normal there. All your minds must be a bit permanly boggled going so fast so often and for so long, in a good way.
