Melville Beach, WA, AU Was nuking 25-30kts when I arrived so rigged small.  Went out in brutal gusty choppy conditions, too chicken to send it.   Then the wind dropped off 5 kts and struggled to get through the lulls whilst Slowy literally chucked donuts around me making it look easy.   Still plenty of power in the gusts but never lined anything up.   Needed to rig bigger.    Slowy told me his speed..what the?    iSonic97, KAR5.7, TWS31

Birchmont, WA, AU Got down to HP, wind didn’t look strong so rigged 5.7. By the time I hit the water got rag dolled, arms grew 3inches I think. Stayed out for 30min but couldn’t put the power down in the chop so headed back and changed down to the trusty 5.2. Was in heaven compared to the 5.7. Made my way upwind to the Southern corner, magic was fun, only issue is when deciding to come back after an exhausting session at the southern end it’s broad to make it back in one hit. Over chop and some big bullets a bit of a work out. Nice spot in the southerly’s even on quite high a tide which was 1m Fanatic 56 KAR 5.2

Koombana Bay, WA, AU. Wingsesh.  Very GAF southerly. Rigged 3.5m, probably should have gone bigger

Melville

6.2m apache, 110 Radix, 34 MK3. non-seabreeze southerly. Mega gusty with pretty high tide. Was windy when i got there hence the small sail. Had so much fun on it the last few easterly sessions I thought why not!

Had a ball! Plenty of chop around due to the tide, but had no problem sailing over the whole area. Got a bit patchy towards the end. Tried to have a few runs with Paul and Hayden but no joy was too on and off- had to line up the gusts to stay on the plane. Good to see Jim doing the local rather than the usual 2-4 hours driving...

Plenty of wind today but no change in tide all day. To much south for the chook but fun blasting in and out

through the channel :) Atleast we know now for sure and to follow Boz to Herron :) Powerd by the 6.3 Avanti,47 M,20,25ws
