Great to see the usual hens in the hen house and a few young roosters on their first expedition. Hopefully a few lucky ducks layed a golden egg.
Punchy wind swinging direction and plenty of chop anywhere not alongside the bank. Arrived for the afternoon shift with Dan, Terry and Rob with Pete and Mike for support. Wasn't that windy when we rigged but plenty of chop so I left the speed board in the van. The slalom is fast but seems to need to go deeper off the wind to reach peak speeds which meant chop city. Often felt like there should have been enough power to drive it faster but 37 seemed to be the wall today. Knee went through the 2008 vintage Koncept as I was coming into the car park. That aside, another classic first week of August session.
