Jimmy's beach, nsw. flyII 5.4, 94ltr skywing, hps980. Fast stage of wing progress now. Today thinking about how to manage dry turn around and did one. Yesterday learn upwind downwind. Tried riding backside but super awkward. 
I went about 8.30 thinking wind would back off, but it went from 15kts to 25kts. Was good, then not. Hanging on two hands to front handle, managed to get back ok. 
Super keen to try this here in nor easter magic. Not magic if you go offshore and can't get back though. Hard spot to learn. Bad spot to learn really. But it's what I've got and taught myself to sail kite then sail here, so sooner or later I'll jump off the edge with wing and a prayer. Happy to get these westerlies to try and figure it out and get blown back on to beach if it goes wrong. 
I went back in the arvo for another try but it dropped too much. Couldn't get off the beach. Fun flying the wing on beach and feeling it out.
