Low tide sail. Thanks to Isaac for the derigging sacrifice & making the wind come back in again for a bit.

Coodanup, WA, AU CA66 KONCEPT 7.5 TD24 Sunny, low tide, light becoming fresh to strong breeze. A good crowd of usual suspects enjoying the freshening breeze. An unexpectedly good day.

Tabou Manta 71, NP RSR E-XV 7.4m, Elmo 42cm.

Fun session in the lumpy goodness at Novara.

Caught up with two of our local trendsetters, still bemoaning their lack physical prowess in having to tame the most basic of windsurfing conditions (standing on the board, hanging onto the sail and moving).

Feeling sorry for them (and their lack of extreme sports credibilty) I displayed my progress into trendsetterdom (realistically there will be another cool sport like lawn bowls which they'll be onto before I get there), through natural enhancement (and shit going wrong as I get older) I now resemble Eccentrica Gallumbits fat ugly grandfather ( the cool kids who get the reference will probably windsurf as it's an old reference).

Any hoo.... my session, the lumpy goodness was good, Tried again my home made Lisa style harness lines which kinda worked this time, but a couple of mods are still needed as the faffing around on the water would be troublesome on a good day, other than that they worked well.

Nice to have a bit of weight in the sail, would have been a bit nicer if I wasn't a tripple man boobed unfit gumby who didn't tighten his boom head properly.

Got a run out past the platform, gumbied (Elmoed) the gybe ( I still woo hoo on a dry one).

After that I went to do one more run and suddenly I found out what it's like to be trendsetter as my arms had turned to jelly, my knees where a trembling and  I'd lost all testicular fortitude.

Tail firmly between my legs I headed back to shore (bet you thought red furry muppets only had a big hairy arm shoved up their nether regions, yes there is also a tail there as well).

Back at the trailer I was all wibbly wobbly (another term the cool people would understand), The joys of getting old, being unfit and slightly under the weather.

Can't be all bad though still being able to windurf though can it.

Good times

I'm calling it Elmo, your posts and Fangman's are definitely the best wholesome entertainment available.

In comparison to His royal Fanginess, I am but a dyslexic amateur when it comes to the imagination and creative writting.

Though this statement in itself is a falsehood as all the Fangman posts are the pure unadulterated and understated truth without the slightest hint of embelishement.

Whereas mine generaly have such a liberal application of bullshit one would be able keep a market garden fertilised for at least a year or two. That is, all except my gybing ability (or lack thereof), which is unfortunately as crap as I describe.
