Jimmy's beach. Skywing 94ltr, FlyII 5.4, axis 1300/325. Not too bad. It puffed up for a moment, thought about going a few different places but decided to just jump in at winda woppa quick. Couple of other wingers there. Observed completely evil gust as it shifted NW and had visions of becoming wingless out there so that did it for me.
Again good turn progress.
Upon heading out, great disorientation was felt at the beginning of the first turn in that I was totally confused which side I was on (bad side) and just sent it into turn and realised half way through I didn't know what was going on, so I held on, and all was fine. Soon after I realised it was just another new normal upside down nor easter.

Bombah Point, NSW, AU.

Nice little sail around as no racing today by the NSW Championship sailors.

SE 0-5 knots then W 10-20 knots

Mikes Lab Formula Board, Neil Pryde 6.4m Mk6 Slalom, Axis 1099.

Went out for racing which didn't happen as the wind died off.

Dogged around for an hour following gusts. No success.

Westerly front came through at 20 knots and died off within half an hour.

Went for a long run across the bay as a footstrap detached making it a hairier ride than it needed to be.

Headed back to camp on a 2.5km run across varying gusts from 20 knots to 5 knots having to pump through lulls.

Got back and the other footstrap was loose. Bit of maintenance required.

Last day on Sunday.

40 knots would make the gusty crap worth it I reckon Greg. Love those curvy tracks Dave...a new contender for the Mr Squiggle award for 2025.
