3 hours ago What a day on the water! Pulled off two PBs on the windfoil, still amazed I snagged the NM away from my Burrum one, but absolutely taking the win. Swapped gear a few times and finally tried the 400 front wing. That thing is sketchy off the wind, but for bay blasting it was wild fun. Had one monster stack that cracked the nose and probably feel my neck tomorrow.
Still figuring out mast angles with the smaller wings. Ran about 2.8deg today, way lower than usual since I wasn’t expecting to chase speed. Started on the 7.8 with the 850 front wing, then dropped to the 6.2 and 620 when the wind filled in. Wrapped the session by giving the 400 a proper go for a few last runs.
Also big congrats to Damo on the wingfoil. He’s starting to get real fly time, huge grin, clearly loving it.
Always satisfying when the bay dishes out a day like that.
