Marmong Point, NSW, AU. East / North East and built nicely, plenty of power with a 6.0 on the fin. Nice arvo sail and great way to spend the last day of a week off.

E-NE 5-20 Knots

Mikes Lab Formula Board, Lift RN 5.4m, Axis 799

Plenty of lulls within the gusts and a few bullets as well.

Ideal angles to get around the bay as the map shows.

Went for control over speed and was happy with the session.

Today were the conditions that I have had trouble with, so it was good to test the gear for the first time on home water.

Took a bit to get used to the waves and salt again after being spoilt at Legges camp.

Good to get the Half century in one outing with no breaks.

Plenty of half jibes today but no full ones. Getting closer.

18-23kts ENE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level  0.20m

 5.5m mach2- RS1 ( 80ltre) - 16.5cms FF ( cutdown 22cm)

I didn't enjoy it today. Too much hardwork for not much result. Kept going for it in 15 - 20cms chop and could only get 29.5.

I got the 2 sec hitting a flat patch on the way in. I don't like sessions where I don't get to gybe much.

I had a few goes but I kept ending on the bottom post flip at the E end.

I got 1 or 2 that were ok. By the end I was tired and stacking them - Off the front on one then off the back on the next so I figured it was time to go in..

Last time I launch at Peely it was horrible trying to get in and out.

I suppose if I want to go fast I should use my faster fins . I have a custom Pepe 17cm designed to hold larger sails but I've only used it once. Undecided

 Everyone else was killing it..Yell

Love how that weed speed settles the board here. Bad luck continues, twisted my knee rushing to get board off roof once on the beach and discovering it was honking. Got board off and knee not too bad. Stumbled running on sand and stabbed pointer into thigh.
No complaints, heavenly windsurfing day.
The bay is very quiet so today so I was reluctant to go far down wind off the beach. Did a bunch of pretend speed runs for robocam filming and hooked into some u-turns. Super powered jibes on pretty flat water was super nice. I felt lots of progression yet again with the gybes. Stand a bit straighter and hold the power in the sail to pull around the turn, felt great. Gotta work on the exit, the board stops a lot when flipping still. But anyway, they are going to look good on video I think.
A few wingers came and went. One was on a travelling yacht. He was doing some cool backwinded stuff and tried to have a race but I smoked him so that's good.
