Sailquik (30104km):  3 categories Mallacoota - Goodwin Sands Got the call from Dale. "It's ON!!" 5 hr drive looking good! The wind arrived much later than forecast. We only got some well powered runs right at the end, and as I was driving home in the dark a few hours later, a massive storm it with hail and rain! But this is a magic spot and we had heaps of fun. Many thanks to Dale for the luxury transport. Great company with Dale and Schoolie! The sand bar was pretty much as good as I have seen it in many years. Haven,t seen it for ages but the whirlpool was in full swing tonight and made jibing a pleasure amongst the chop. Too square for speeds, so I chased Alphas and strap to strap jibes.... so much fun on my lonesome. Could sail until after ^ when standby had finished.
