Unleashed the Elmo. Well maybe just the Fangy Cardigan wearing version. Twas a tad bumpy here, but nice to get out on the water with a bit of breeze in between breaking a front foot strap. I feel the dent I left in the estuary was sizeable and a worthy addition to my Trophy Cabinet of 'Best Crash When No One is Looking.'

Patrik 100, NP RSR Evo-XV 6.5m, Elmo SS 37cm.

Got down the run early, plenty of parking with only Jon out. Unfortunately I had my mate to keep me company, but my meds put him into the background a bit.

Thought I was being a bit optemistic with the gear selection, but I was wrong.

Lots of wind and some nice flats(ish) over in Claudesville, but farkme (and it did) it was lumpy goodness on steriods, over waist in places, different directions.

Only 3 long runs out off +8km, second return leg was getting pushed down wind, last run out fully lit but struggling to do anything with it, the return leg I knew would be a mongrel and it didn't disappoint, overpowered in the flat's (ish) but out past the platform the chop ws full on, couldn't pull in the back of the sail, blown downwind, struggled to make the channel marker, struggled to keep the board on the water, struggled not to make a Fangy sized dent in the water.

Lotsafun.

That was pretty hard going for this weedy little wood duck. Could not really get it together.

Fanatic 89L, 5.0, 32cm pointer.

Haven't been on the pointer fin for a while, all good except dropped most of my jibes, and probably need to go back to water-start school.

Elmo looked to be sending it out to the east horizon.

Not such a fun day at Liptons, things were going right untill I rigged, good wind ssw and getting into the bay, then it shifted SW and turned gusty.

Had my 48cm board with 20cm@40/60 on and speed 5.2, This would have been OK if I could line up the occasional gust into the flat. But it was so exhausting getting the little board going in the shallow weed, and in the lulls I couldn't persuade the sail to rotate.

Oh well it was always a gamle that the wind would stay ssw and we'd get fast runs in the flat.

Probably would have been better off at Coodunup, who knows,  you take the gamble, some you win, some you loose, that's life.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU CWW59 LSB 5.8 ANW20 Sunny, moderate to fresh breeze on an ok tide. Breeze was fairly south at the start but swung around to the west which was shadowed in the bay but ideal over the channel. We decided to stay in the bay and leave the channel for Ant and Boz. Sailed with Barry and Mike and Rob. The breeze was a bit flukey in the bay and hard to get a good gust. Finally got over 35 out of the Modded CA aka CWW so happy with that. Got a gust last run of the day. Also got a good workout.

          Fangyland , WA , AU .            .

That was a bit like fun, if not a bit bone jaring , but I did find some relatively smoothish stuff for me jibes,  but it did get shallow and drag the fin

in the mud an dirt .  My fin did survive,     it may be a bit shorter now ??     Good day out   Laughing      Cool .

        Had the 48wide ,  ka kon 5.8 ,  and  El 50 22cm or now 21cm??
