46 days ago Wollumboula Lake, NSW, AU - 7m SV Mach3, 115L Patrick slalom, 22.5 Pepe fin - Just myself and 500 swans - very on and off, mostly off unfortunately, I should’ve started later like 5pm, would’ve been more fresh when wind filled in better. Was freaking awesome sailing through and amongst swans almost hitting them. Would’ve been unreal footage if I had the GoPro. The south end of lake is pretty cool, nice and flat but yeh I was lucky I didn’t catapult as I think it’s very very shallow. Snapped both harness lines, getting back upwind took forever as wind died down.
